Programme Review outcome

The Faculty of Agriculture at Eastern University, Sri Lanka, successfully completed the program review for the Bachelor of Science Honours in Agriculture degree program in 2019. The faculty was awarded an “A” grade by the external review panel, which appreciated the best practices implemented by the faculty. The faculty maintains these standards and prepares for the next program review, scheduled to be held in 2025.

Curriculum Revision 2021/2022

The Faculty of Agriculture at Eastern University, Sri Lanka, has initiated a curriculum revision for the Bachelor of Science Honours in Agriculture degree program. This latest revision builds upon the curriculum updated in 2017, with the aim of implementing the revised curriculum from 2023. The revision is designed to enhance the quality and relevance of the program offered by the faculty. With this update, the curriculum will fully align with the minimum requirements of the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF) and relevant subject benchmark statements.
